Rumford Elementary School fourth-grade students took a field trip to Weld Lake as part of a unit on water and wildlife. Rumford Elementary School Principal Anne Chamberlin is pictured sharing her knowledge of Weld Lake and challenging students to investigate the water quality of the lake through observation skills. School specialists, along with classroom teachers, provided lake and forest ecosystem experiences through a six-week collaborative endeavor.
