RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Rita M. Lizotte was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was  celebrant, and George Gionet was altar server.

Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria,” “Wind Beneath My Wings,” and “J’irai la Voir un Jour.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Jennifer McPherson. The New Testament was proclaimed by Brianne Johnston. Offertory gifts were presented by Cecelia Blake, Michelle Perry, and Lynn Townsend.

Personal reflections were shared by Renee Lizotte. Pallbearers were Lee Farrar, Cuffy Walker, Daniel Walker, Wade McPherson, Matthew Perry and Richie Robidoux. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
