AUBURN — Local Three, an Atlanta restaurant owned in part by Auburn native Ryan Turner, was declared the Best Restaurant in Georgia recently during an annual awards ceremony.

It has been in business since December of 2010 and is the second restaurant owned by Turner and two other partners.

Turner is a 1990 graduate of Edward Little High School. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1994 and served in the AmeriCorps program for 10 months. He moved to Atlanta and worked for a restaurant chain.

He resides in Smyrna, Ga., and is married with two children. He is the son of John and Sue Turner of Auburn.
