STANDISH — The Schoolhouse Arts Center will present “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)” on Dec. 8-17.

Rather than perform Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to bring the entire Christmas experience — carols, stories, traditions from around the world — to the stage in just 90 minutes.

Performances of this madcap romp through the holiday season will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for students and seniors.

“Every Christmas Story” is considered PG-13 and is not recommended for young children.
