AUBURN — Emma B. Pelletier, 89, of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility following a long illness.
She was born in St. Ludger, P.Q., Canada, March 9, 1922, the daughter of Charles and Josephine (Morin) Baillargeon and had been a resident of this community since 1935.
She was married to Laurence Pelletier; he died May 23, 1992.
Emma was employed in the local textile industry for 37 years as a room girl until her retirement.
She was a member of the Marchandes de Bonheur and the Ladies of St. Ann’s of Holy Family Parish. She was a eucharistic minister of Holy Family Parish and a volunteer worker at Russell Park Manor.
She is survived by two sisters, Simonne MacKenzie of Sidney and Lucy Guerrette of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
