At Auburn Middle School, Mrs. O’Connell’s and Mrs. St. Pierre’s advocacy classes organized a school wide bottle drive to support The Q97 radio station Cans for a Cure annual fundraiser. Their goal was $100, but with the support and donations from the students and staff at AMS, they tripled their goal and raised more than $300. Laurie from The Q arrived with the Can Van to pick up the donations.
