CHESTERVILLE — Donna D. Lord, 73, a resident of Chesterville, passed away peacefully at Central Maine Medical Center on Friday, Nov. 25.

She was born Nov. 8, 1938, in Wilton, a daughter of Lawrence Nichols Sr. and Lucille (Dorey) Nichols.

Donna attended school in Livermore Falls and was a lifetime Auxiliary member of the DAV. She enjoyed crafting, lawn sales, her friends and family and playing cards with her brother and sister, but she especially enjoyed her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna also enjoyed making various craft items that she donated to charities, nursing homes and local hospitals.

She is survived by her four sons, Maitland Lord and his wife, Sandra, of Chesterville, Larry Lord and his wife, Sandra, of Jay, Jeffrey Lord and his wife, Sharon, of Florida, and Roderic Lord and his wife, Katherine, of Chesterville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Lawrence Nichols Jr. and his wife, Patty, of East Livermore; her sister, Virginia Davis of North Jay; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Jacob “Jake” Lord on Nov. 15; her older brother, Leon Nichols; and baby brother, Stewart Nichols.
