AUBURN, N.H. — International Sled Dog Racing Association musher Heather Brannen of Poland took first place in the Adult 2 Dog Speed class at the Ethan Howard Memorial Rig Race Scooter race.

Brannen finished the four-mile course with a time of 12 minutes, 18 seconds. The event was hosted by the New England Sled Dog Club and counts toward the International Championship Series for sled dog racing.
