CHITTENDEN, VT. — Alan and Julie Sawyer of East Wilton are excited to announce the marriage of their son, Dr. Gregory Sawyer, to Annah Kinsler, daughter of Michael and Martha Kinsler of East Chittenden, Vt. The beautiful outdoor ceremony, which overlooked the resort, lakes and mountains, was held at 5 p.m. on July 9 at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in Chittenden, Vt.

Erron Kinsler was her sister’s maid of honor and Jamison Sawyer was his brother’s best man. Eli Kinsler, son of the maid of honor and nephew of the couple, was the ring bearer.

The weekend began on Friday night with a rehearsal dinner for guests at a lakeside boathouse, followed by the ceremony and reception on Saturday evening and a brunch on Sunday morning, all at the resort.

Mrs. Sawyer is a graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Mass., Union College and Columbia University, where she earned her master’s degree in social work. She is currently a licensed independent clinical social worker at New England Organ Bank.

Dr. Sawyer is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School, Colby College and Dartmouth Medical School. He is currently chief orthopaedic resident at Brown Medical School in Providence, R.I.

Following a honeymoon to Belize, the Sawyers reside in Providence, R.I.
