JAY — Students involved in the Spruce Mountain Middle School Lego League will present their projects to the community at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the middle school cafeteria.
There are 50 students on seven teams competing in Lego League at the school.
The First Lego Championship state competition will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Augusta Civic Center. The competition portion of the day will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with opening ceremonies expected to begin at 9:30 a.m.
This year’s challenge is Food Factor! Engineering Meets Medicine. Teams will present projects they feel could improve the quality of food by finding ways to prevent food contamination.
