CHESTERVILLE —  The Chesterville Fire/EMS Department will hold a public discussion Thursday on what to do about the department’s squad truck.

An informational meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Chesterville Town Office.

The truck, a former ambulance, needs several repairs which will likely cost more than the vehicle’s value.

Department members would like to share their thoughts on what to do, including a proposed replacement, and hear residents’ ideas.

The department acquired the former ambulance in 2006 to to help with the more than 100 calls a year.
