I had the honor and privilege of serving with Mark Paradis on the Lewiston City Council and I can state, without reservation, that he is one of the most knowledgeable, honest and conscientious public servants I have ever known.

Always guided by one goal — doing what is best for the citizens of Lewiston — he is not afraid to make the tough decisions needed to help the city move forward.

A good listener and one who truly believes in collaborative efforts, he has the skills and experience to bring people together and find common ground.

I know he possesses the leadership skills to work with the new city council in holding the line on taxes, encouraging economic growth and supporting education.

I support native son Mark Paradis for mayor on Dec. 13.
