Festival of trees

RUMFORD — The Rumford Performing Arts Committee will hold its third annual Festival of Trees celebration at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

This year the show is free to the public. Local musicians will play and sing Christmas carols headlined by Raapa. Santa will be there along with Frosty and Panda Bear. Bring a camera. Refreshments will be available at intermission.

Merchants and local organizations will sponsor a tree, and the public will decide which tree will take first prize.

Class of 1955

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Chicken Coop for their monthly luncheon meeting.

Class of 1949

MEXICO — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1949 will meet for their Christmas gathering at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Chicken Coop.

Instead of a gift swap, attendees are asked to bring a money donation to be given to the Mexico food pantry.

Widows/widowers

MEXICO — Widows or Widowers Sharing will meet at noon Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Mexico Chicken Coop for Christmas lunch. For more information call Barbara Morse at 562-4225.
