SANGERVILLE — Phyllis E. (Baston) Blasko, 69, passed away at her home in Sangerville with her family and friends at her bedside on Dec. 6, following a long battle with cancer.

She was born Nov. 30, 1942, in Lewiston, the daughter of Harry and Arline (Benson) Baston.

She was educated in the Lisbon school system and furthered her education with more business courses both in Maine and Florida. After relocating to Scranton, Pa., Phyllis became a restaurateur, managing Feefe’s Bar and Grill with partner, Robert Blasko, for many years. After his passing, she returned to Maine, where she worked at the family owned Shiretown Pizza in Dover-Foxcroft for the past 17 years, owning it for three of those years.

She is survived by a sister, Judith Adams (Phil), along with niece, Wendi (Dennis) and grandnephew, Devin O’Connor, all of Greenville Junction; niece, Andrea (Eugene) Holley, nephew, Keith Baston, and grandnephews, Scott and Sean Baston, all of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Maxine Baston of Canton; cousins, Sandra Berry of Windham, Sharon Corwin and Kathleen Searles, both of Arundel and Barry Gould (Dantia) of Holmes Beach, Fla.; and close family friends, Pam and Mel Ames.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Robert Blasko; and a brother, Richard Baston.
