BUCKFIELD — Several students from Buckfield Junior/Senior High School have volunteered to help the Good Shepherd Food-Bank mobile food effort on Monday.

National Honor Society adviser Deborah Litchfield said representatives from the Buckfield Community Church, where the local food bank is housed, asked for help carrying bags of food to people who need the help.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., National Honor Society members Alex Warren, a senior from Buckfield, and Dakota Warren, a junior from Buckfield, along with Student Council members Rebecca Carrasquillo, a senior from Sumner, and Stacy Pepin, a senior from Buckfield, will travel with the food mobile to Turner and Buckfield.
