WILTON — The Canal Street bridge ribbon-cutting ceremony has been changed to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9,  Town Manager Rhonda Irish said Thursday.

Traffic can resume on the new bridge Friday following the ceremony.

Previously the opening and ceremony were scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
