LEWISTON — The Lewiston Middle School Demons hockey program swept all five of its games this past week.

LMS Lady Demons skated past the York Lady Bobcats, 7-1. Jaylin Cloutier led the scoring with her first two goals of the season and two assists. Isabelle Frenette and Emma Theriault both found the twine for the first time as well. Jordan Mynahan continued her scoring tear with two goals and a helper. Completing the scoring were Brittany Foley with a goal and assist. Katie Lemieux chipped in with two assist. Emma Ford had the York tally. Payton Winslow played well in net for the Demons.

Demons (Roy Division B) squad handled Yarmouth, 10-0. Banging home their first goals of the year for the Demons were Tommy Turgeon, Ben Gosselin and Jacques Cyr. Alec Howes netted his second hat trick of the season. Alex Robert and Chad Lynch potted two goals each. Assists went to Gosselin (two), Turgeon, Howes, Trevor Eliasen and Nick Bisson in his first game with the Demons. Joey Lake was in net to earn the shutout.

The Demons Ingals Division B team was anchored by Devin D’Auteuil in his first game of the season in net for the Demons, holding off a fierce third-period attack by the Yarmouth Jr. Clippers. Jayson Martin got the first goal for the Demons mid way through the first. The Demons Alex Porter, in his first action, took over from there. He scored a natural hat trick, including the eventual game winner with 1:34 left in the second period. Yarmouth scorers were Hunter Lillard a goal and assist, Joe Truesdale with two goals and Cole Stetson and Will Armstrong with an assist each. Yarmouth cut it to 4-3 midway through the third period before D’Auteuil stoned the Jr. Clippers to preserve the victory.

Demons (Braun Division A) dominated York, 14 to 0. Colby Bilodeau led the attack with a hat trick. Eddie Turgeon, Cam Dionne and Alex Rivet had two goals apiece. Evan Cox, Patric Racine, Cody Howe, Isaac Dube and Brandon Michaud each added a goal. Brett Bannister had many outstanding saves to preserve the shut out.

The Soule Division A squad skated to a 6-2 victory over Biddeford Jr. Tigers.
