I support Mark Paradis for Lewiston’s mayor in the runoff election on Dec. 13.

I have known Paradis for more than 15 years; first, when he served on the Planning Board and, later, as city councilor.

While we did not always agree on issues, he approached discussions in a fair manner and with an open mind. More importantly, it was clear that he always had the interest of the citizens of Lewiston in mind when making recommendations or taking actions.

Mark Paradis will bring that type of leadership to the position of mayor and will help bring the community together so it can move forward during these challenging times.
