Key losses: Adam Wiles-Rosell, Dominique Clements.
Promising newcomers: Senior — Chris Malone (5-8 guard); Sophomores — Nate Backus (5-8 guard), Cam Abbott (5-8 guard).
Outlook: Mt. Blue is viewed as a co-favorite along with Hampden in the KVAC North and Eastern A. Berry and Hart are the starting backcourt for the third straight year. Sennick and Hilton are versatile big men. The Cougars have experience and depth throughout the lineup. The regular-season schedule — highlighted by Hampden and Bangor twice — will have MB prepared for tournament time.
