AUBURN — Muriel S. Dion, 84, of Lewiston passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Rosaire and Yvonne (Custeau) Dion. She attended local schools graduating from Lewiston High School. She attended local schools graduating from Lewiston High School and the former Auburn Maine School of Commerce.

Muriel was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish. She loved playing bingo with her niece, Rhonda. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed making puzzles.

Muriel is survived by her two sisters, Lorraine Dubois and her husband, Maurice, of Lewiston and Anita Clark and her husband, Bruce, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Hilda Dion of Bonita Spring, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Yvette Benoit; and her brother, Donald Dion.
