Promising newcomers: Juniors — Kelsey Lamothe (6-0 forward), Chuck Little (5-6 guard), Dustin Beard (6-0 forward); Sophomore — Nick McBride (5-11 guard); Freshmen — Alex Mace (5-10 guard), Kyle Fields (6-1 forward).
Outlook: To quote John Lennon, it’ll be just like starting over. Three senior starters graduated and three key players elected not to return to the team. Coach Jared Browne left over the summer to take the same job at his alma mater, Winslow. Smith, previously an assistant at St. Dom’s and Poland, will look to build around Morin and Asselin. The lack of seniors hints at a building year with high hopes for 2013 and beyond.
