Key losses: Maggie Sabine (forward), Abby Goulet (guard), Becka Lehotay (forward).
Promising newcomers: Sophomore — Kelsey Collins (5-10 forward); Freshmen — Kayla Veilleux (5-8 forward), Sadie Goulet (5-7 guard/forward), Toni Hart (5-6 guard), Hayley Marshall (5-6 guard), Iris Abbott (5-6 guard/forward), Danielle Samson (5-3 guard), Vanessa Wright (5-6 guard), Meagan Crosby (5-8 forward).
Outlook: The Raiders reached the Western B tourney after numerous near misses. Oak Hill lost three regulars, including Sabine, the KVAC B Player of the Year. Beaulieu is a four-year starter while Marston, Caskin and Priest have improved and are ready to take on larger roles. Hilchey will be key in the post for the Raiders. Oak Hill is young with eight underclassmen.
Coach’s comment: “Obviously with the amount of freshmen on the team there will be growing pains at the start. This is a good group of players who work very hard and support one another.” Coach Tom Morong.
