LEWISTON — A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial commemorating the life of Richard Lapointe was celebrated by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard Friday morning at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. A delegation from Hahnel Brothers was also in attendance at the Mass. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Father Chouinard recited committal prayers, after which Richard’s daughter, Tammy Edwards, thanked all in attendance for coming and invited all to join them for a reception of fellowship at Gipper’s Restaurant in Auburn. The urn bearers were Kyle Edwards as well as Tina, Adam, and Andrew Gauthier. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
