AUBURN — Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 of Auburn will have a Christmas potluck buffet at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, in the activities room at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane. It is handicap accessible. Anyone interested in joining is welcome.
There will be festive music and white elephant gift exchange. The noble grand, Mercena Abrams, has asked attendees to dress in favorite Christmas outfits, dressy or casual. The meeting that follows at 7 p.m. will be an open meeting so all, whether members or not, may attend.
A special collection will be taken up for the Good Shepherd food pantry. For every dollar donated Good Shepherd can provide three meals to a family in need.
At a recent meeting, member Lucy Cowles was presented with a 75 year jewel for 75 continuous years of membership in a Rebekah Lodge. She has taken office in the lodge every one of the 75 years. She is a past noble grand and a past district deputy president of the Rebekah Assembly of Maine.
