The Maine Blues Society jam takes place every Thursday, 8-11pm, at La Cage, 97 Ash St., Lewiston. Hosted for the last four years by “Poke Chop and The Other White Meats,” the jam features both local favorites and talented newcomers jamming the blues in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Come to play, dance or listen – it’s a great time, and no cover!
