AUBURN — Funeral services for G. W. “Bill” Lever were held Wednesday at the Fortin Group/Plummer Merrill Funeral Home, with Deacon Denis Mailhot officiating. Bill’s son, Scott Lever, shared fond memories and stories of his experiences with his dad. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program. After the playing of “taps,” the U.S. Flag was folded and presented to one of Bill’s daughters, Sandra Mynahan. Following the services, a reception celebrating G. W.’s life was held at Marco’s Restaurant.
