LIVERMORE FALLS — Two local teens are suspects in a rock-throwing incident at the Livermore Falls Middle School on Wednesday, Livermore Falls police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

One of the rocks broke a window in the academic wing, he said. The school has been closed for academic purposes since July 1. The gym and stage section are still in use.

The boys are ages 15 and 16 and the younger is suspected of throwing the rock that broke the window, Steward said.

The case will go to juvenile intake to be reviewed for possible charges, he said.

The window is valued at less than $100 and has been repaired, he said.
