AUBURN — The wedding of Alicia Quesenberry and Evan Travers was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 20 in Auburn. Ken Ederly, notary public, officiated at the outdoor ceremony.
Mrs. Travers is the daughter of Kevin and Diana Quesenberry of Sabattus. Mr. Travers is the son of Flint and Geraldine Travers of Litchfield.
The bride wore an ivory gown with sweetheart neckline and carried a bouquet of white Gerber daisies, white alstromerias and dark purple Calla lilies.
Renee Desmarais, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tanya Travers, sister of the bridegroom, and Audrey Pelletier and Katelyn Ellis, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Chelsea Major.
Stephen Wood performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Fournier and Joseph Wing, friends of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Douglas Francoeur, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at Martindale Country Club. The couple traveled to North Conway, N.H., for a mini honeymoon. They are residing in Sabattus.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Oak Hill High School and is attending the University of Southern Maine, Lewiston-Auburn campus, for her master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is currently employed as a MHRT-1 in a local group home for adults with mental illness.
The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He earned an associate degree in business management hospitality and is continuing his education at the University of Southern New Hampshire for his bachelor’s degree in business management. He is currently employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
