Calvin Bumby, 5, of New Gloucester, seems to be enthralled after lighting the menorah with his family Wednesday night at Temple Shalom Synagogue in Auburn. Members and friends of the temple celebrated Hanukkah, which continues until next Tuesday, with a party that included traditional Jewish foods, such as latkes and sufganiyot.
