PORTLAND — Mary Cote, of Auburn, is the new director of human resources at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland.

She has 30 years of experience in the health care field, with 27 years spent in the human resources area.

Prior to her appointment, she held a senior leadership position, with primary responsibility for the human resource function, at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Residence in Portland.

Cote attended the University of Southern Maine and holds certifications in senior professional human resources, personnel law and OSHA general industry safety and health.
