PORTLAND — Local students recently performed as part of the University of Southern Maine School of Music student ensembles.

As the only School of Music in a public university in New England, the school features a faculty of distinguished performers, teachers, scholars and mentors.

More than 100 concerts and events are presented each academic year; open to the public, these are either free or have modest ticket prices. Find out more about the School of Music concert season at www.usm.maine.edu/music.
