HAVERHILL, Mass. — In loving memory of our brother, Genie Hill, 78, of Waltham, Mass., formerly of Mechanic Falls, who passed away on Dec. 18, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Genie was the oldest child of Gene and Madalyn (Thurlow) Hill. He graduated from Mechanic Falls High School, Class of 1951. After graduating, he worked for our dad delivering oil.
In 1959, he moved to Waltham, Mass., to work at Raytheon Corp. In June 1968, he married Ann Marie Miller, who passed away in 2005.
Genie is survived by a son, Rick Hill and his wife, Melodee, of Georgia; a grandson, Casey; one great-granddaughter; three stepdaughters, Sharon, Cindy and Laurie and their families of Massachusetts; two sisters, Penny (Alan) Pray of Mechanic Falls and Patsy (Clyde) Holt of Oxford; a brother-in-law, Harry Wilson of Mechanic Falls; a cousin, Jon (Kelly) O’Halloran of Peru; and many nieces and nephews.
Genie was predeceased by his wife, Ann Marie; his parents; a brother, Ted Hill; a sister, Bev Wilson; and a cousin, Dan O’Halloran.
