AUBURN — The wedding of Katie Marie Grant and Andrew Marc James was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 23 at Lost Valley in Auburn. Ken Edgerly, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Laural Grant of Lisbon. The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Theresa James of Lewiston.

The bride wore a Victorian style jacket of champagne brocade with a cream inlay design and braided trim, complete with three foot train. Worn under the jacket for the reception was a floor length cream crepe sleeveless gown with scalloped beaded trim. Both were designed and made by the bride. She carried a bouquet of hot pink roses, orange Gerber daisies, stephanotis, green button mums and purple salvia.

The sister of the bride, Kari Grant-Gagnon, was matron of honor and bride’s dude was Brian Pelletier, best friend of the bride.

Serving as best man was the best friend of the bridegroom, Zachary Bellavance and usher was Sean Howe.

A reception followed at Lost Valley, after which the couple traveled on a Caribbean cruise out of Puerto Rico. They are residing in Greene.
