PARIS — New and recent works by Debi Irons, the Art Moves Dance Company, Neveah and Joanna Patterson will be presented Friday, Jan. 6, at Oxford Hills High School Auditorium.

“Acorda!” and other dances introduces the collaboration of Irons with composer Philip Antonio. “Na Beleza de Acordar” (in the beauty of waking up) premiered Oct. 1 at Bates College. Bates seniors Ashley Booker, who will also sing, and Victoria Lowe will join Joanna Patterson, Kim Hamlin, Sasha Campbell, Erin Hamlin, Melissa McLaren, Karianna Merrill, Dana Ryerson, Karianna Merrill and Lindsey Redgate for the Jan. 6 show.

“Na Beleza takes on the feel of a dream with sections called frantic intro, black swan and the groove, yet begins and ends in serene beauty.

The Art Moves Dance Company will perform several dances from “3’S Company.” Patterson is a guest soloist.

Making up the dance troupe Neveah are Nettie Gentempo, Macky Page and Hannah Gentempo.

“Entre entre acte,” described as “catching a group of cabaret dancers after work,” will also be performed. It is a fun, fast and somewhat fantastical trip choreographed in the style of musical theater.

The dance performance will begin at 7 p.m. Advance tickets, $7, may be purchased at Books N Things on Main Street in Norway. Admission is $11 at the door.
