GORHAM, N.H. — Robert H. LaPointe, 82, of Gorham, N.H., passed away on Jan. 3, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Berlin, N.H., Oct. 26, 1929, the son of the late Joseph T. and Muriel (Hart) La Pointe and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Berlin High School and served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Bob had been employed by Sanel Auto Parts for many years. The most important thing in his life was his family. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. Bob enjoyed going to his land in Crystal, hunting, fishing, gardening and landscaping, and spending time with his wife at his camp at Aziscohos.
Members of the family include his wife, Valerie (Leighton) LaPointe of Gorham; sons, Glenn LaPointe and Danny LaPointe; daughters, Kellie Ramsey and Bonnie Labonville; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and cousin, Joanne Olson Holmes.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald LaPointe.
