LEWISTON — Katherine L. Morse, 48, of Churchill Road, Leeds, died Thursday, Jan. 5, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 8, 1963, the daughter of Philip and Althea (Gillis) Morse Sr.

Katherine graduated from Leavitt High School and Mid-State Business College. She had worked at several area restaurants as a waitress, and as a saleswoman at several car dealerships. Katherine enjoyed camping, going to the beach and cooking for family and friends. She especially loved family gatherings.

She was a member of the Greene Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Ethan Morency of Lewiston and Ryan Morency of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Pamela Morency of Los Angeles, Calif.; her father, Philip Morse Sr. and his wife, Elaine, of Readfield; her mother, Althea Gillis of Greene; a sister, Linda Ross and her husband, Dana, of Hampden; a brother, Philip Morse Jr. and his fiance, Paula Levesque, of Winthrop; two nieces, Margaret and Kathleen Ross; a nephew, Tyler Morse; her ex-husband, Michael Morency; a very close friend, Hope Fitz.

She will also be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and her dog, Elliot.
