GREENE — Robert Linwood (Lucas) Chute, 69, of Greene, died on Jan. 5.

Robert was born Feb. 18, 1942, the son of Shirley May Lucas. He was adopted by Richard Chute and raised by a very great lady named Helen Chute.

Robert grew up and spent most of his life in Greene.

Robert served in the U.S. Army for nine years. He was an over-the-road truck driver until his ill health took him off the road in 1996.

Robert was a family man and loved each and everyone.

He leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey Chute and his wife, Christine, of Leeds and Kris Chute of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Ethan, Addison, and Lily of Leeds, and Tyler and Emma of Lewiston-Auburn; Robert raised his stepchildren, Rosa (Myshrall) Tierney of Lewiston and William Myshrall Jr. of Corinth; Robert has a nephew, Alfred Mason and a niece, Rose Mason of Leeds.

Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
