LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday for George A. Rousseau at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul under the direction of The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March officiated, assisted by the Rev. Albert Roux, OMI. The scripture reading and prayer of the faithful were presented by Felicia Ouellette. The offertory gifts were presented at the altar by Jennifer, Joseph and Emily Elliott. Father March recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program. Bearers were Tom, Paul and Jos Rousseau and Gerry Dion.
