LIVERMORE FALLS — A public open house will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, to celebrate the completion of the Androscoggin Valley Medical Arts Center at 21 Main St..

The new center will be open for business the following Monday, bringing together personnel and services previously provided at Franklin Health Livermore Falls Family Practice on Union Street and at Franklin Memorial Hospital Outpatient Services on Main Street in Livermore Falls.

Visitors to the open house will be able to tour the areas that will house Franklin Health Livermore Falls Family Practice and outpatient specialty care and talk with the doctors, nurses and other staff. LaFleur’s Restaurant will provide seasonal refreshments and there will be gifts for all who attend.

Groundbreaking for the 13,500-square-foot medical arts center owned by Franklin Memorial Hospital took place in July. The total cost of the completed project is $4 million.

Health care services provided at the new center will include primary care by the medical staff of Franklin Health Livermore Falls Family Practice, and outpatient specialty care, including treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and sports medicine, ob/gyn women’s care, physical therapy and mental health counseling. Also offered will be laboratory services, X-rays, ultrasound and digital mammography services.
