SCARBOROUGH — Norma L. Davidson, 79, a resident of Bradman Place, Auburn, died late Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Gosnell Hospice House, following a brief illness, with her family by her side.

She was born in Freeport, May 15, 1932, the daughter of Norman and Christine (Small) Ray. Later her family moved to Auburn, where Norma graduated from Edward Little High School in 1952. Following school, she began her employment in the local shoe industry and later worked for a number of years at the former Paragon Glass in Lewiston.

She loved to cook and she also enjoyed traveling. Norma’s favorite travels were traveling all around New England.

Survivors include her husband, Richard, whom she married June 1, 1957 of Auburn; three sons, Derek Davidson of Lewiston, Douglas Davidson and his wife, Janna, of West Baldwin and Richard D. Davidson of Naples, Fla.; and two grandsons, Alex and Tyler Davidson.
