SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Lynde Folsom, a sophomore from Stoneham, Maine, is a 2011-12 member of Syracuse University Literacy Corps.

Tutoring and mentoring through the Syracuse University Literacy Corps is a unique, challenging and rewarding experience working with students in the Syracuse City School District to improve their literacy skills. This year, more than 244 tutors from Syracuse University at 50 different sites have worked with 7,047 children through SULC.
