NORWAY — Edmund Appelhans Jr., 57, of Oxford died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 8, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Joplin, Mo., Nov. 14, 1954, the son of Edmund Appelhans Sr. and Priscilla Witt.

His last employment was at Pizza Hut in Oxford as a dishwasher/cook. He was a member of the NRA, and The Handyman Club of America. Edmund enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Mr. Appelhans is survived by his wife, Judith G. Appelhans of Oxford; daughter, Mary L.Becio and her husband, Christopher, of Oxford; two granddaughters, Rose and Amber Becio, of Oxford; two sisters, Lorraine Ordoyne and Elizabeth DeWesse, both of Missouri; and a brother, Tommy Appelhans of Mississippi.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; as well as his son, Edmund Appelhans III.
