LEWISTON — Margaret (Pelletier) King, 63, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 9, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lewiston, March 24, 1948, the daughter of Jeremie and Lucille (Girardin) Pelletier.

Maggie worked as an assembler for the General Motors plant in Connecticut, where she resided most of her life and returned back to Maine in 1995.

Maggie loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, reading and loved going to the beach, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Dean and husband, Doug, of Franklin, Mass.; one son, Ricky King of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Megan, Mariah and Makayla King, as well as Kaitlyn and Devin Dean; four sisters, Connie Michaud, Carmen Lemay, Frances Levesque and Sandy Camire; six brothers, Mike, Daniel, Donald, Claude, Andy and Maurice Pelletier; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased two brothers, Bertrand and Romey Pelletier.
