“Our family has been a loyal customer of Bedard Pharmacy for the past 16 years.  Like most families, we frequently need prescription medications and on each and every occasion we have received quality service from their highly professional staff.  As a result of that warm and friendly service combined with the professional atmosphere, we have a 10-year-old child who believes he is destined to become a pharmacist and is hoping to be able to someday work at Bedard Pharmacy.”

“I have been working with Bedard Pharmacy for eight years and I have been totally satisfied. The service is always prompt and friendly. They are a local pharmacy which has had huge benefits. When we need something for our residents, Bedard goes out of their way to be sure we get what we need in a more than timely manner.

“Steve Royer is here every month for med reviews. He does an amazing job – very thorough, very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Jake, who works in Senior Care, has been wonderful to work with as well – very friendly and personable. The staff and residents both enjoy their visits.  I look forward to working with all the Bedard staff for many years to come.”

Lillian Cyr has had the pleasure of knowing all four generations of pharmacists in the Nadeau family. She recalls growing up in the Emile Sacre block on the corner of Park and Chestnut Streets in Lewiston. As a young child she would go across the alley to the back door of the National Pharmacy and visit with pharmacist Meril Nadeau R.Ph. (1st generation) who always gave her a chocolate or a piece of candy.

In 1957, Cyr married and moved to Bartlett Street and in the coming years, met pharmacist Alcide Nadeau (2nd generation) at Bedard Pharmacy on College Street. She fondly remembers Mike Nadeau (3rd generation) as a young boy.

Today, at age 73, Cyr resides at Auburn Residential Care Center and is still a Bedard customer, served by Christopher Nadeau, a 4th generation pharmacist, and Senior Care pharmacy staff such as Steve Royer.

“Bedard has always been my pharmacy,” said Cyr.

“Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice would like to congratulate Bedard on the grand opening of its new location at 359 Minot Avenue in Auburn. Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice has had a long-standing professional relationship with Bedard, using their services for hospice medications, supplies, and as reliable consultants. Bedard has continued to collaborate with Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice to ensure the appropriate medications for our hospice patients are in stock and they have a solid understanding and support of the hospice philosophy of care. All of our equipment for the Hospice House was purchased in collaboration with and from Bedard, which has served us well.

“Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice highly values our continued work with Bedard and we wish them the best of luck in their new and expanded building. “
