Poodunck Club

DIXFIELD —The Poodunck Snowmobile Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at the WRS Clubhouse on the Canton Point Road. The group will discuss the 15th “Blessing of the Sleds.” Come with any new ideas for the club and the day of the blessing as well. For more information call 562-4690.

Neighborly seniors

PERU — Neighborly Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the former Peru Elementary School. The meeting will start at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a potluck dinner and entertainment. This is a change of time and location.

There is still room on the trip to Indian Head Resort on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. Everyone is welcomed.

The meeting will be held back to the old time frame but with a different location. For more information call Connie at 364-4189.

Anyone interested in a trip to Lac Megantic for a sugar shack trip is asked to call Connie also. Dues card for 2012 are also available.

Texas Hold ’em

RUMFORD — There will be a Texas Hold ’em poker tournament at the Rumford Eagles Club at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21. Win the tournament, high hand, 50/50 or all three. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Buy in will be $30. Lunch will be available.

Fashion show

RUMFORD — The What Not Shop thrift store will hold a Winter Wonderland fashion show at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at 85 Lincoln Ave.

The Glee Club will provide entertainment at noon.
