LEWISTON — Joline R. May, 63, of Lewiston died Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston, April 2, 1948, the daughter of Arthur and Rose (Toutain) Bourget. She worked in several local shoe shops for most of her life and her final place of employment was at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn.
Joline was an avid bingo player and will be missed by many of her bingo friends who she met throughout the years.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph E. May Sr., whom she married on June 10, 1967; her daughter, Suzanne Bixby and husband, Donald, of Poland; her sons, Ralph E. May Jr. and companion, Sandra White, of Lewiston, Joseph K. May and companion, Laura Roberts, of Auburn and Charles E. May and wife, Toni, of Lisbon; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Lillian Cyr of Lewiston; her brothers, Eddie Bourget of Lewiston, Fern Bourget of Lewiston, Robert Bourget and wife, Cristy, of Lisbon and Maurice Bourget and wife, Irene, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond, Adelard and Gerard Bourget.
