DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for two pieces of information.

First, do you know who the person was — I believe a DJ — who had a blue show car and played music from the trunk in the parking lot of the Dunkin’ Donuts across from CMMC?

Second, members of the Winthrop High School Class of 1972 please contact Oral Tibbetts at [email protected], 485 4600 or Tibbettsdisability on Facebook. Class reunion time! Thank you. — Carol Pillsbury, [email protected]

ANSWER: Sun Spots spoke to a couple of people at Dunkin’ Donuts who said that the man you refer to is a regular coffee drinker at their store and is a reverend, but they had no other identifying information. They said that as far as they know, he just plays the music from his show cars for his and others’ pleasure.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am searching for a “Barney” stuffed animal. I have searched the Internet and numerous stores and cannot find this character. It’s for a very special little preschooler who has lost Barney and has been asking for him daily for a long time now. A replacement would bring this child much peace and happiness. We would truly appreciate it if someone out there would be willing to part with theirs. Thank you in advance. — Alfreda Fournier, [email protected], 782-4348

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for a woman who lived with our family in Turner Center in the 1950s. Her name was Peggy Gould. If you know her or are her, please get in touch. I’m working on a family history. Thanks. — Susan Varney, 453-2578, [email protected]

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Great job, Sun Spots! Not too long ago Lee Goldberg on WCSH6 announced that Brian Yocono was leaving. No fanfare, etc. Brian was such a great asset to the staff and a very positive professional. We miss him. Any idea where he went?

On another note, we noticed that Sharon and Chris Rose on the same program are not wearing wedding rings. Have they split? — No Name via email

ANSWER: According to LinkedIn, Brian is now at WCPO 9 NEWS, serving the Cincinnati, Ohio, region. Television news broadcasters often need to move to larger markets to advance their careers, so it is not surprising Brian left. There are about 330,000 people in Greater Cincinnati, according to Wikipedia, compared to about 35,000 in Bangor.

As of October, the WCSH website biographical information has Sharon and Chris Rose as married. Sun Spots didn’t turn up anything online about a divorce or separation.
