LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday for Jeanne B. Cloutier Gagne at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, following prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. Monsignor Marc B. Caron officiated, assisted by Deacon Denis Mailhot and both recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the Mass, the pall was placed on the casket by Marc Cloutier and David Belleville, grandsons. The scripture was read by Connie Cyr, godchild. The prayer of the faithful was read by Nicholas Farrand, grandson. The offertory gifts were presented at the altar by Katelyn Cloutier and Tamia Wilson, great-granddaughters. Bearers were Marc Cloutier, David Belleville, Jeff Cloutier, Ryan Guimond, Nicholas Farrand and Bobby Schnopp.
