AUBURN — Lillian Saucier, 86, of St. Mary’s Residences (Maison Marcotte) in Lewiston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
She was born in Daigle, Dec. 20, 1925, the daughter of the late Octave and Marguerite (Dumont) Bellefleur.
On March 2, 1943, in Lewiston, she married the love of her life, Alfred P. Saucier. Together they raised 10 children. She was a devoted wife, a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always put her family’s needs before her own. Her greatest joy was having her family by her side and getting daily phone calls from her children. She was and always will be the greatest MOM ever.
She is survived by her children, Helen Horton and her husband, Lewis, of Arizona, Claudette Curran and her husband, Jean Paul, of Sabattus, MarieAnne Jutras and her husband, Roland, of Lewiston, Bernadine and her companion, Robert Roy, of Fairfield, Steve Saucier and his wife, Rena, of Lewiston, Dora Clark and her husband, John, of Lisbon, Susan Wiers and her husband, Dean, of Lewiston and David Saucier and his wife, Patrice, of Lewiston; her sister, Leona and her husband, Larry Carrier; her brothers Ray, Gilman and Gilbert and his wife, Doris; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred P. Saucier; two sons, Alfred (Bob) Saucier and Richard Saucier; three sisters; and four brothers.
