NORWAY — Ben Thompson, a former resident of Norway who was the first manager of the Walmart in Oxford, has returned and opened of an auto repair shop.
Grease Lightning, 57 Main St., Norway, is one of 18 locations in Maine and New York owned by Thompson and his wife, Jackie, whom he met when they worked together at Walmart, more than 15 years ago.
Grease Lightning provides auto repairs from brakes and tune-ups to tires and oil changes. Thompson has also partnered up with local businessman Eric Stoddard to open Mountain Car Wash next door to the shop, creating an one-stop destination for car care.
Grease Lightning also offers options to those who need repairs but may be short on money through their 90-day payment plan “No Credit Needed” and their Car Care One credit card. For more information, go to: www.mygreaselightning.com.
